Overall, it was a good experience. If the room can be updated, it will make the stay in the room a lot more pleasant.

Owners Note: Green blankets are gone! Added new sectional sofa sleeper, new coffee table and removed old armoire. New flat screen TV's in the living room and bedroom!

Best view in the town without breaking the bank. Walking distance to the lift. This is a hidden gem in this town. Don't pay top dollars at other over-priced hotels. This place is the best bang for your bucks.

The only things negative were, 1. the refrigerator was constantly running and no light bulbs in the floor lamp in livingroom.

The location is nice for ski in/ ski out. The kitchen needs new/ additional cookware. The property mgmt company had to replace the toaster due to malfunction. The refrigerator was not working properly, but has been since addressed.

Great location and reasonably priced. This unit offers the best view of Mammoth Mountain and valley. Ski in/out from the building which is really convenient.
This unit is kept very well & clean. It offers a comfortable Crate & Barrel Sofa Bed.
One suggestion: DVD (blu-ray) player and quieter refrigerator, perhaps?

Outstanding location, clean condo with a great view! The only negative was that the refrigerator ran all night and was noisy. Suggest replacing it as the fridge was forming ice even on a low temperature setting. The sectional sofa with a pullout bed was one of the best I've slept on. Most are extremely uncomfortable but this Crate and Barrel brand was one of the best.

Staying at a ski-in-out lodge is definitely addictive. Sunstone Lodge offers convenient access to the slopes while provides stunning view of the mountains. We were also lucky to have a full moon shining on the night scene. It was a perfect experience on the mountains.

Stayed here for a quick family ski trip, and we were very satisfied. The bed and couch/sleeper sofa were extremely comfortable, and the place is very tastefully furnished. My only real complaint is that the sidewalk from the condo to eagle lodge was iced over our entire stay, making it dangerous to get there. It would just be a matter of tossing some salt down to make it more passable. I noticed that Juniper Lodge (right next door) took the time to keep theirs clear, but I saw several people (including my children) take nasty falls just trying to walk to the lodge. That could have been easily avoided. That is more of a property management issue. Overall the condo was great and we would stay there again.

Summer getaway with my son, and a couple buddies for a time of downhill mtn biking, kyacking, and hiking. Condo was perfect, clean, and comfortable. Location was quiet, accessible, and perfect. Room had everything you'd need. Pool was nice. Fitness center was small but functional. Paid $257 per night, out the door, so not cheap, but appeared to be the going rate. I'd stay there again.
